Halloween Museum Late: A Brief History of Surgery

  • Florence Nightingale Museum 2 Lambeth Palace Road London, England, SE1 7EP United Kingdom (map)

Florence Nightingale Museum is opening the doors after dark for a Halloween late, with a special talk, A Brief History of Surgery, to get you into the gory spirit.

They'll also shine a light on a special surgical box on display, on loan from our friends at the Hunterian Museum. Discover the story of this Victorian-era case, its connection to Florence Nightingale, and what it reveals about medical practice during the Crimean War.

The talk starts at 6:30pm and runs around 45 minutes, with time for questions. The bar opens from 5:00pm, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to accompany your visit.
